New neighbors moved in this morning!

The rain stopped Friday night and the rest of the weekend was wonderful.

It was a beautiful evening, the time was right for our 1st BBQ. Went for walk after dinner, and found out that our doctor is two docks over on a sail boat. Had him over for glass of wine and then had a look at his boat. I so love taking my tea upstairs in the morning and watching all the people in the park, I can get used to this...

It's a Dinghy Day

My first ride on the dinghy today, fun! Just stayed in the harbor.

Maiden Voyage

On Monday, May 15th, we took our Maiden Voyage.

We first gassed up the boat.  Gary did well backing it up to the gas dock.  

We then went about a mile out into Lake Michigan, circled around and came back in.

First voyage was a SUCCESS!!!

WE FOUND IT!!!

We found our boat!  

After quite the search we found it!!

This is our new boat, SEANUTS.

We are keeping it on Lake Michigan for the summer because we have ALOT of practicing to do.
 Starting to make memories already!

We sold our old boat.  So many great trips made with such special friends.

On the Hunt

We're still dreaming our dream.  

We sold our home.  We found the right boat but the timing wan't right.  

Keep watching this blogspot as we will update it as soon as we have more news.

We haven't been sitting idle as we have just finished 31 states on our 3 year old bike!!  Having a great time!

Still Dreaming of our Journey...

We are still in the process of finding a boat.  We know our boat is out there, we are just in search of it.  We would like to practice with it for a few years before we start our BIG adventure.  Still so excited.
